From the colorful city of Houston, Caleb moved to Oklahoma for college. After Graduation, he began to take his social media more seriously by merging his love for fashion and cars to create his unique platform. From there, Caleb began to get a buzz from up and coming brands due to him displaying and showing his support for their work.

In this editorial, we had the opportunity to sit down with Caleb and discuss his love for fashion, cars, and his relationship with brands.

Q. Tell us about yourself and where you are from?

A. “I’m from Houston and now I am here in Oklahoma. I went to school here at the University of Oklahoma studying Air Traffic Management.”

Q. What are things you enjoy doing when you have extra time on your hands? Do you use your free time to work on your car?

A. “It honestly depends. If it’s cars, it’s usually just maintenance. Sometimes I play games and watch Netflix and I also try to shoot whenever I can.”

Q. What Inspired you to get into fashion?

A. “I wanted to up my appearance. I wanted to make sure that I looked good when I was going out. Before getting into fashion, I was wearing faded jeans and really tight clothes.”

Q. What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe?

A. “I don’t have a favorite piece, I like everything the same. It depends on what I am wearing, ‘these are going to look dope with this fit, I’m going to rock these.’ I like everything I have, I do have a few favorites though. All my FOG Essential sweatpants, I will never get rid of those. Anything that Josh (Founder of Vicissitude) has, I consider those grails.”

Q. How did you discover Vicissitude?

A. “I was scrolling through Instagram and found Josh’s page and saw how sick his fits were, I then discovered his brand through his page and decided to cop his shirts.”

Q. What does it feel like to be featured on the page of a clothing brand that you support?

A. “It is a blessing, I never thought that he would hit me up.”

Q. What’s one thing people should know about when they see your page?

A. “I’m not all about my car, I just got tired of being the car person. I’m not trying to be known or anything. I just want to be recognized for me, that’s why I started posting pictures of myself. The car is cool and all but say I went to a car meet, I don’t want people to be like ‘CJ_frs where are you at? What do you look like?.’ I could walk away from the car meet and people say ‘Oh that’s Caleb, that’s CJ.’”

We want to thank Caleb for sitting down with us and giving us the time and opportunity to sit down and learn about him and his incorporation of fashion with his car lifestyle. Being able to not only be close friends but family is a major blessing. We also want to thank everyone for reading our first editorial. We here at MMI are beyond excited to continue to share art and artists with you all. Caleb’s Instagram is able to be found by clicking the picture above. Thank you everyone!
